1. Warranty Coverage

True Tiny Ltd provides a 2-year limited warranty from the date of original purchase on all kitchen and laundry cabinets manufactured by us.

This warranty covers faults caused by defective materials or workmanship under normal use conditions, including residential and light commercial use (such as rental properties, offices, staff kitchens, and similar low-traffic environments).

Where a valid warranty claim is accepted, True Tiny Ltd will, at its discretion:

  • Repair the faulty component, or

  • Supply replacement parts, or

  • Replace the affected cabinet or component in full where repair or parts replacement is not reasonably practical.

2. What Is Covered

This warranty applies only to faults arising from manufacturing defects, including:

  • Cabinet carcasses

  • Doors and drawer fronts

  • Shelving and panels

  • Hinges, runners, and internal hardware supplied by True Tiny Ltd

Coverage applies only where the products have been:

  • Installed correctly in accordance with accepted industry practices

  • Used for their intended purpose

  • Maintained in a normal indoor environment with adequate ventilation

3. Repairs, Replacement & Warranty Limitations

This is a limited warranty and is restricted to the repair or replacement of faulty parts or workmanship only.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Removal, re-installation, or refitting of cabinets

  • Labour or installation costs

  • Costs associated with plumbers, electricians, builders, or other trades

  • Access costs, site preparation, or modification of surrounding cabinetry, benchtops, walls, or flooring

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential costs or losses

Any replacement parts supplied will match the original specification as closely as possible. If an exact match is no longer available, a comparable alternative may be supplied.

4. What Is Not Covered (Exclusions)

This warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from:

  • Misuse, abuse, or neglect

  • Incorrect installation or modification

  • Excessive moisture, direct water contact, steam, or heat

  • Inadequate ventilation, including around dishwashers, ovens, dryers, or sinks

  • Commercial use beyond light commercial applications

  • Impact damage, scratches, dents, or normal wear and tear

  • Use of abrasive, chemical, or unsuitable cleaning products

  • Alterations or repairs carried out by unauthorised persons

  • Natural movement, colour variation, or characteristics of timber-based materials

  • Damage caused by external events such as flooding, fire, or accidents

5. Warranty Claims

To make a warranty claim, the original purchaser must provide:

  • Proof of purchase

  • A description of the fault

  • Clear photographs of the affected product

  • Installation date and location

True Tiny Ltd reserves the right to inspect the product or request additional information before approving any claim. All claims must be made within the 2-year warranty period.

6. Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (New Zealand)

Nothing in this warranty is intended to limit or exclude any rights, remedies, or guarantees available to consumers under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA).

Under the CGA, consumers may be entitled to remedies for goods that are not of acceptable quality, not fit for purpose, or do not comply with their description. These remedies may include repair, replacement, or refund in certain circumstances.

Where the products are acquired for business purposes, the Consumer Guarantees Act may not apply.

7. Warranty Transfer

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
